existing pool pump to circulate water through the solar
collector's small passages, where the water is warmed by
the sun. The heated water then flows directly back to
your pool through your regular pool plumbing. All it
takes to sufficiently heat your pool is activating your
system during a couple of warm, sunny days.
Multiple Installation Options The Solar Pool Heating
System offers a variety of installation options, for
both in-ground and above-ground swimming pools. Just
place your sunheater in the area where you get the most
full sun each day, either on the ground or mounted on
your roof, and you'll enjoy a cost-effective heated pool
without the exorbitant fuel bills.
Above-ground pool owners: If you order a 4' x 20'
(#32422-manufacturer part#18007) you will be shipped 2
2' x 20' collectors (#32421-manufacturer part#18006).
Solar collectors for in-ground pools come with a
roof/rack mounting kit and all necessary hardware for
mounting. You'll also need one (#32424-manufacturer
part#18021) In-ground System Kit regardless of the
number of collectors installed. Each (#32424) kit
contains a diverter, check and vacuum relief valves,
endcaps and strapping.
Solar collectors for above-ground pools come with all
the necessary hardware to mount the collector adjacent
to the pool. An optional pool diverter valve and
roof/rack mounting kit for above-ground pools is also
available.
